As for the benefits of the Olympic games, generally speaking, you can come up with 3 things: investment, tourism, and, sporting venues. However, I cannot accept any of these 3 points because they cannot make any profit for people in the host country. Those who are for hosting the Olympic games often say that they can foster investment for less populated areas. However, after the end of the Olympic games, nations and private companies would stop investing those areas because they do not have marketing and commercial values due to their remoteness. As a result, the local economy and residents would suffer from recession. People also suffer from overtourism. Of course tourism is a good for nation's economy. According to Japanese government, it wants to increase the number of tourists by 40 million by 2020 for Tokyo Olympic Game. As you can see from this government's plan, tourism is very important for countries especially for them with few natural resources. However, for local residents, it is very uncomfortable to accommodate so many tourists. Taking an example of Kamakura, which is one of the most famous tourist spot in Japan, are suffering from overtourism.

However, sometimes underestimating budgets has become a problem. For example, in Japan, candidates estimated its cost to be around 3 times less than 2018's one. In addition to that problem, "Unpaid the Olympics Volunteers" are controversial. I agree with the idea that they can have precious experience and younger volunteers might  hope the work well lead to connections and a full-time job. But they have to pay their own lodging and transportation to Tokyo. Tokyoites will be fine, but how about those in the other region. It seems to be too expensive. Also, according to researchers, there is a serious shortage of hotels in big cities. So, if they had money to spare, there is still a possibility not be able to secure their hotels due to the shortage. 
Although Tokyo Olympic Games have had problems yet, if they cope with them, they can make tons of impression for people. To sum up, whether Olympic Games' hosts are good or not depends on their capability of being solved. To develop the host country is also good, but it's wrong that the host country should fall into economic hardship.  In some ways, it's correct that Olympics brings benefits to the host country.  Many new jobs, for example, construction, advertisement, security are generated. And many people are able to benefit. But I think this opinion lacks of long term perspective. It's just a temporary benefit. I guess they might lose their jobs after the Olympics. And construction costs so much and we have to continue maintaining them. In addition to that, I heard that the new Tokyo national stadium won't be completed by 2020. But we have to pay tax to complete and maintain it even after 2020. It's absolutely ridiculous. We have to use existing facilities as possible.  And I think it's also wrong that some organization earn much money. Host country shouldn't be determined by corrupt organizations. They must recognize that sports aren't tools to earn money.

I support Tokyo 2020 because we can improve the infrastructure of Tokyo city by using this opportunity. Now, there are many aging roads ,waterworks and buildings there.Tokyo will gather much money from all over the world because of the influence of the Olympic Games. We can fix these aging infrastructure and improve the safety of Tokyo more.It is predicted that a big earthquake will happen within 4 years there ,the probability is 70%. I think the Olympic games have benefits for the host country. 
  first, the citizens have an opportunity to watch the matches. Especially, it is good for children in the host country. I think the experience of watching the match will be life-long memory and widen their  perspective. some children will get more interest  in sports. when I think of hosting the Olympics, it has a meaning in terms of education. 
 Second, hosting the Olympics will boost the sense of national pride as we don't notice about our nationality in a daily life. when we cheer for the athletes together, we will realize the patriotism. then. According to the global poll, the majority of people in 18 of 21 countries answered  that the Olympics is important to the national pride. So, I think hosting Olympic is the best way to aware the nationality and unify people closely.
 For those reasons, It is beneficial for host country to have Olympic games.
