<title>Media Influences can shape a teens behavior, either good or bad. Research done by a school states that it is good for everyone to keep notice of the media&#39;s influences that involve topics such as violence, sexual activity, body images, etc. This can create many norms for those people and for many if the society around them. A teen may seem invulnerable to those influences but over time those will sink down into the persons thoughts and led them to do risky things like underage drinking or sexual activity. This is probably the greatest influence on younger people and is the key source for the development and establishment of norms in our society</title>

<title>It may seem quick and small but an advertisement can change a teens personal health habits and spending habits. Cigarette ads are the biggest influences on the younger people and draws those people to start thinking about what will happen if they start smoking. By using young, admirable people in ads it can draw more attention to teens and the bad things they could be viewing on the ad. It not only gives an increased risk of bad behavior but it also can change the spending habits of teens. Once again since they are so drawn to the appealing aspect of an add they will want to constant spend money on that particular product and those similar to it. Using billboards, T.V and magazines makes it seem like it is expected and acceptable to teens to spend money carelessly.</title>

<title>The schools are definitely one of the higher influences on teens. Each and every grade for each school has a different setting and this creates lots of norms towards how those people are supposed to act in their society. This can either be praise towards those people or rudeness against their certain behaviors. For example if a kid from another area entered a new school, he or she would be very vulnerable to the new norms and be under the heavy influences of those people around them. By accepting these norms then the teen could believe in that only &quot;cool&quot; people smoke and drink and that grades don&#39;t matter if you&#39;re having fun. </title>

<title>The laws of ones society can alter how a person thinks, believes and acts. More than often the law has a positive impact on peoples decisions and helps children/teens grow into a healthy life. It brings in the normal value and belief of &quot;stealing is bad&quot; and &quot;one should not harass others&quot; which can help children develop into making good choices. This can also help those teens who are prone to the pressure of underage drinking and help them step back from doing that by thinking of the consequences. </title>

<title>The one thing that every person forgets is that you are also a huge influence onto peoples lives! It all beings with the simple rule of treating others the same way you would like to be treated. Teens should be able to understand what respecting each other means and then be able to actually out that into action towards others. This means you should never so much aggressiveness towards other because it will come across rude which will rub off on others to treat people with respect. Each teen will eventually grow up and gain more rights/privileges as the years go on. They need to learn to accept the norm of growing up and being responsible so that those who can&#39;t accept that can see you and hopefully take after you. Ones reputation of integrity takes almost a lifetime to build up but with a single screw up it can all be destroyed. Things such as honor and reliability will build up over a teens lifetime but if they mess up and do a bad thing such as stealing or cheating it will all be lost. This will change the views of others to not do such things and to be the type of person society wants them to be. </title>

<title>I personally have been through a lot and have experienced good and bad influences which resulted for me to be a better person. The two biggest ones were the media, in which certain role models and stars gave a good influence towards me to do good things and to treat others right. The other was my personal influence on others because I always get compliments for how I treat people since I believe no one is better than the others and I have grown lots of respect and reliability through it. These good influences on me has helped shaped me into a better person, help me accept and deny some norms around me and finally has helped improve my overall health, mainly in my mental wellness. </title>
