I chose this picture because it represents how plants provide a purpose in society and the environment. Like a mother nurturing life for her child, plants do the same for life on earth. This picture represents how our environment is produced by how we take care of it.

I chose this video because I feel like it covers all of the information that someone would need to know in order to understand photosynthesis. This video describes what a plant takes in and what it produces. It also includes other information like how plants get their color and describing the calvin cycle.

I could not find a website that had all of the four major types of plants together that were in Georgia. So, I am going to use the links of two different websites. The first link I am going to use is from Plant Native. I chose this website to represent the pteridophytes, gymnosperms, and angiosperms that are native to Georgia.
Here are a few examples of each of the three types of land plants.
A couple of pteridophytes on this website are the lady fern and the ebony spleenwort (which even thought it ends with wort, it is considered to be a part of the fern family). A couple of gymnosperms that are mentioned on the website are the longleaf pine and the spruce pine. And lastly, a couple of angiosperms on the website are the spider lily and the coral honeysuckle
Here is the link for the first website:
http://www.plantnative.org/rpl-algams.htm
The other link I would like to use represents the type of bryophytes. This websites describes the Spanish Moss that can be found in Savannah, Georgia. Here is the link for the second website: https://gosouthsavannah.com/historic-district-and-city/squares-and-parks/trees-and-plants.html

I picked the deciduous forests as the biome that I believe is in most danger of ecological change. I believe it is one of the most in danger biomes for a few reasons such as deforestation, acid rain, and climate change. Obviously as humans we have always used wood for many purposes. The deforestation of deciduous forests for human use can change the structure of the forests completely and even destroy the forests. Climate change and acid rain are similar to deforestation in the way that they are caused by human activity and contributing to the endangerment of deciduous forests. Acid rain can pose a big threat to the forests by damaging tree leaves, causing trees to make less seeds and be more susceptible to disease.

I chose this picture because it represents impact that the development of agriculture had on the human population. The development of agriculture in the Neolithic Revolution had many effects, as they are shown on the diagram below. Some of the effects it has had on the human population are making more food available, the emergence of farming villages, making more cultural developments, and brought forth new farming tools. The development of agriculture also gave communities the ability to become more stable and can rise the population of a community.

I chose the invention of high-yield grains. This refers to a higher production rate of grains that came along with the green revolution. These higher yields came from the technological advances made in this revolution. I chose it because of the fact that it brought along the increase of this product, which led to the reduce of hunger, and the new varieties of grains that it brought as well.
