Often the same elements are found in different cultures, each element being unique in its own way. The many different elements can be the link, the bridge between cultures. Music is often such a link. Even if we don’t speak the same language, the music connects us and becomes understandable to everyone.

Today experinse of drums was very important to me. All nations have drums , altrough a bit different, but basically the same.  Gwo Ka drums are used for folk musik in Guadeloupe. There are lot  rhythms , today we learned five rhythms. Trough practical work we have proven that music speaks all languages.Music is an important part of preserving your own culture and is great way to get to know other cultures, learn tolerance and patience. Thank you Rita and todays Gwo Ka teacher s!
