I chose a night sky because I’m a very sleepy person, and I love taking naps and sleeping in. Having an image with pastel colors adds to that sleepiness I feel, the grainy pink over the navy blue sky makes me think of dreaming.
 
I feel like I did a good job editing my image and eliminating anything in the background. I also did my best to erase any stray hairs I had in the original photo so that I have a more polished look. It was also easier to paint over the second image onto myself since I take up most of the screen and smoothed out my hair. Some finishing touches were saturating and brightening up the colors.

It was pretty easy using Snap-seed because I only had to use a few tools to make it. I think I showed that very well and you can see the buildings and the pop of color through me and get the idea. My inspiration for choosing New York was not just because it is one of my favorite places to go to but the photo, I took of New York that I used was on my birthday making it more connected to me. I did the clone because i thought it would look cooler. The overall process was pretty easy. The only part that was tricky was getting the right height for me squatting and me putting my hand over my own head. I think this picture represents that perfectly. This process was very creative and a little stressful. Between taking the photos repeatedly and trying to edit them together, it was work in progress. Once I got the hang of it, I actually finished the project quite quickly. Since I finished quickly, I actually had time to help 2 other people with this same process. I would absolutely try this again; especially for instagram photos and just to show to my family.

This project shows that sometimes is hard to win without a team behind you and sometimes it’s easiest just to do it yourself so you know it will be done right.
How I think I did
I think I did pretty good on this project and had fun while doing it and also learned something. 

How was the process for me
The process was very easy for me. Once I watched a YouTube video I already knew the idea that I wanted to do. And then I just followed along with it for a good grade.

  • My intention of this project was to find three pictures with a theme and use the tool double exposure on the app called “Snapseed”. I could've done any 3 pictures with any theme but I chose to do ice cream with water. 
  • I was struggling at first because I kept forgetting how I was going to brush it and clean the edges but I asked for help and then I started to get the hang of it but in my opinion, I think I did pretty good I like how it came out! 
  • The process like I said was pretty confusing at firs trying to clean the edges right was a bit hard but it came out looking good.

    For my project I had taken a photo a few months ago on a train track and I edited it so it had more bright colors. I had put that over a photo that I took of myself in class. I had overplayed the phot over me and had the tracks go into my head. I think I personally really good and what inspired me was other works that I had seen researching this project that had the same concept. I enjoyed this project a lot and I would for sure do it again.
