Students will provide their on hypothesis and rule for their experiment rather than teacher given.
Dependent variables:
1. Must be drop from the same height
2. What constitutes as a bounce i.e. a bounce is counted if the return is higher than the balls height.
3. It must not knock into other objects
4. Retry the experients a few times to make sure data found is fair

Remove the table provided so as to allow the students freedom to come up with the variables and data to be collected. The table is also restrictive in the nature

Carry out the experiment on different surfaces

3. To see if the height from which the ball is released affects the number of balls

4. to define what is a bounce, would the bounce be counted if the ball hits something else, or should we count the final bounces until it rolls ....

5. Will the material of the ball affect the height of first bounce?

6.
