  •  To investigate further into my targeted audience, into their expectations and their likes and dislikes about the genre of the film trailer and evaluate existing similar products and its technicality and in terms of its narrative and discover what makes a product appealing to them.
  • To use this useful and purposeful, focused information to produce a film trailer that is appealing to them, by meeting their expectations of narrative and technicality, to use their evaluative feedback of similar products to benchmark and apply to my own products, and this will allow me to know how to appeal to my targeted audience which will make my product successful in terms of attracting, appealing, interesting and desiring my targeted audience into watching the film.

  • To interview 3-4 members of my targeted audience, male and female.
    • What to discuss and questions to ask:

    • Why they like this genre.
    Q: "Why do you like the genre horror?"

    • What makes a product appealing to them.
    Q: "What features makes a product appealing for you?"

    • Show similar existing products and ask their likes and dislikes.
    Q: "Based upon this film trailer, this film poster and magazine cover, what are your likes and dislikes on it?"
