At Mrs New's group we were planting sliver beat and broccoli but first we put on some gloves to keep us protected from the germ and looked and some kumara slip i was a little confused when Mrs New said that the kumara had little eyeballs then we cut the kumara in to little cubes and put skewers in the kumara and put in into a jar and make sure you put it in a warm spot until the roots come out.

After that they were talking about how a kumara grows.Our garden volunteers was Mrs New and Mrs Ansell, after that Mrs Ansell got a kumara and started chopping it in to little pieces. The first ,thing that we had to do was,we had to cut two apple from each side of the apple then we put it into a pot to cook the apples.While the apples were cooking I had to take out ten pieces of the plums.

I was so excited because  me and my classroom 11 walked over to the whare kai,and the garden,I was in group two with one half  of my classroom, and the other half of my classroom was in the kitchen,we did not know what they were making but we were sure excited!
