Abraham as a Prophet compares to Noah. This is because both are loyal to God and are prophets. They hear him and take his signs into consideration. The two also carried out God's message along the way of their own journeys.

E. Genesis 17.1-281. Why does G*d repeat the promises he made to Abraham (now in more detail)? 2. If you were Abraham how would this make you feel? Why?

1. God repeats the promises to Abraham because he wants to be clear with what he wants him to do. He wants it clear that he loves him and that he cares for him in every way.

2. If I were Abraham I'd feel a bit annoyed with God. This is because being constantly repeated something when you simply get the point of it is annoying. I do get God's intentions and that he wants us to do good, he should just repeat it once in the most detail he wants to. I would feel a bit special and loved though in the process.
