I chose to create an ad for the Black Penguins, which is Olivet's Frisbee team. I have been on it the past 2 years and I have tons of fun with it, so I thought I could make something for it. I chose to use one font to make everything simple because I felt like the text shouldn't be distracting.

I used the company Fellowtive (my own company). I used the logo we had to make the other day. I choose to pick only a few colors that combines well with the logo and background. This advertisement is about a six hour pop-up store in the middle of the city. Fellowtive is hip brand, that is why there will be music. It is a starting brand, so it needs sponsors to make the pop-up store happen. I used the quick selection tool on photoshop to delete the background of the pictures and to make pictures different colors. What very helpful was for me, was working with the rulers. That is the reason I could make this advertisement more proffessional.

I decided to create an ad for a fictional company my boyfriend created for one of his classes. I used the information he provided me to write the description and choose the supporting pictures. I placed one picture over the other and simply decreased the opacity percentage.

I used my own freelance photography business for the ad. I already have a logo for my business, so that was the color scheme I stuck with. Teal, light teal, gray, and white. I didn't want to go into detail about anything in the ad, so I kept it fairly simple and added all my social medias and website. I mostly wanted the focus to be on the pictures because that is what attracts people to contact a photographer. The process was very simple, just a lot of layers and inserting pictures!

I decided to do a Magazine AD headline for the recent post on Facebook from National Geographic about Michigan where I plan on going this summer. NG has not made a advertisement or post about the Sleeping Bear Dunes so I wanted to make my own. I chose to do a simple wording design. I created and cut out the Michigan state myself.

The advertisement I made is about a global marketing workshop that I am giving about the Benelux. I used a picture of myself and because of this I chose the blue and white color texts. Another thing I used were the rulers. The logo's from Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are all individual images, right straight on top of each other. I am happy with the result, it looks really professional.

Was super busy with other projects all due at the same time so this was all I was able to finish.

As you can see I decided to make a comedic design of lebron james coming out of a new NIKE brand shoe. I was going to add more text and the logo elsewhere, although I did use the NIKE checkmark logo to make a radial design to add some marketing flare.

This NIKE magazine ad I created was very tricky because I had to work with a specific colors to make the shoe pop. I centered the shoe because that is what is being advertised.

I thought it would be fun and unique to create an old fashioned add. I decided to make an add for the Pony Express. I looked up real adds for this company online and used some of the words that they used to advertise in my body text. I used an old fashioned photo, appropriate for the time period, to represent the team of men already on the mail delivery job. I used an old fashioned letter, a Pony Express postage stamp, and a painting of a man on a horse to express the time period (there were very few photographs). I used a pink-red color all throughout the add to tie it together. I used this color on the map, the postage stamp, and the image of the men.

I work for the spiritual life department on campus so I wanted to create a magazine ad for students to join ministries. I was able to use pictures that I took or others took for me from different ministries. In a class last semester I was able to create a new logo for spiritual life ministries so I was able to use that here, however it did not transfer over as well as I wanted. The colors I used here were just copied from the logo that I made.

I chose to make this advertisement because my family owns chickens and when we have extra eggs, my sister will sell them using the name KAWs Colored Eggs. I thought it would fun to make an advertisement for her "business" and I also made a really quick logo for it too. I tried to stick with the different colors of the eggs for the color scheme.

The advertisment I made is about my company Luxaso. I used my Logo and added a background picture from Dubai. My clothes come from Dubai, so I thought the background is a perfect theme to my company. I used also some pictures like Facebook and Instagram to promote my company on different social media levels. At the end I used some exclusive brands to show that I work together with these other company's. I am really proud of the result!

I chose to make a Dr. Pepper ad simply because I LOVE Dr. Pepper. One of their slogans is "Always One of a Kind" and so I decided to repeat the image of the soda bottle in the background and then emphasize the one in the foreground using color and several filters and color adjustments. I also borrowed the drop shadow from the logo and added it to the bottle to help make it stand out but still appear unified with the rest of the advertisement.

I decided to do an advertisement for my own business, Paper Creations by HM (self plug, haha). I have been making and selling paper flowers and such for about 2 years now. I have made flowers for a wedding, sold them in a local artist co-op back home, and have done several custom orders. all of these pictures are ones that I took of things I have created! I pretty much just dragged in images and made text boxes and tweaked little things here and there. I then went in afterwords to link everything and change the images to CMYK.

I wanted to do an advertisement that was completely different from my other projects, so I went with a sports theme. I wanted to show the different flavors of Gatorade. I went with a lightning background because most Gatorade ads that I looked up were either black or had famous athletes in the background. Some of the text is orange to reflect the Gatorade logo.

I did some Jordan shoes that got retroed on the 1st of April because that is the first thing that came to mind. I used to collect shoes but grew out of it but still like to see whats happening in the sneaker community. I grabbed images that all relate to the shoe in some way, shape, or form and added them in.

I made this advertisement about a guided tour around Barcelona in Spain. I pust the logo at the bottom, which is called "vist Spain" not visit. And i tried to put some of the characteristics of the city, like the food, the beach and some buildings. The most important building. "La Sagrada Familia" is the cathedral in the city, so I put it as the image in the front. Hope you like it.

For this project, I began by slowly playing back a video that complied many of the experiences of camp last summer. There isn't a good way to capture so many experiences, so I tried to use phrases that would be intriguing if you hadn't been to camp before, yet as welcome as an old friend for someone who had been there. I used multiple images to convey the camp-favorite game, Water Balloon 500, and kept it to a simple complementary color scheme of red and green.
