1. Finding another course to study after the one I was supposed to study got cancelled.
2. I had a very good conversation with the ladies at the information centre.
3. I did my research on what course I could do as a plan B so when I got there to discuss with the team they weren’t just offloading information to me but we were actually talking and exchanging thoughts.
4. My attitude, because I was a bit mad because I was asked to do something else because the college failed to deliver what they had offered me.

1.Dropping my baby brother off at school .
2. I asked the gatekeeper where I was meant to drop him off since I had never dropped him off before.
3. This didn’t go well because I didn’t know where I was going.
4.I could have asked my mom before I actually tried dropping off my brother to improve, that could have made it easier for me and wouldn’t have to ask the gatekeeper where I was supposed to go.

Saffron set a task to find ten different areas and we got into groups and the first team to get back would win sweets so we worked together and found everything we were supposed to find in teams of teamwork we were good but however we could have split up and completed the task faster

Saffron set a task to make a group quilt out of paper and just string. Everyone got a piece of paper and wrote their name at one side of the paper then an interesting fact at the other side. The whole group then gathered around one table with their pieces of paper and we just started punching holes and attached the papers with string. It was very unorganised at first because everyone was just doing what they wanted. It got better when we decided to listen to one persons idea and hope on the task in a different way of following a leader than doing it individually.

The British value task was when Saffron hid papers that had British values on them. We then had to find them and had to do a research about what they were. This task developed my teamworking skills because it required team research, everyone who was on my table started looking things up and finding answers.
We did mange to get everything we were looking for however we could have tried looking for information from different source and not just google we could have used google scholar and read from pdf's.

Motivation -

pushed myself to join the sports village gym .
I started doing some work outs and working on maintaining my weight
I was very punctual for the first two weeks , went every day for some classes and then stayed and did personal workouts after the classes
Be more punctual and actually push myself to go everyday like I used to

Reliability

Doing my careers assignment and finishing it before the due date
I learned how to do my research quickly and how to multitask because I was doing my assignment and everything else that I do like work and college
I joined the Barnsley library and this is where I got most of my information from books in there
I could have try finishing the assignment earlier because it was very easy and we had been working towards the assignment with Jazz all the time

Supporting someone in my class on how to deal with their triggers.

Talked to Ellie about her triggers which include relationship problems with men and people who just cancel plans.

I advised her to lower her expectations from people because people are weird and full of surprises and that they will always do things that are best for them and selfish.

I also told her to start focusing on herself and to stop caring about people who cancel plans and always go to the places they were supposed to go without the person.

Mentoring my sister and teaching her how to cook a traditional dish.

I explained the whole process to her before getting the utensils out to give her an idea. I then showed her the utensils and had her to take them out. We then cooked everything together doing everything together step by step.

On the following day I asked her to prepare the dish on her own without my help. She cooked it perfectly I just helped her out a bit.

Supporting an old couple understand the stagecoach bus routes

they wanted to find out what buses went to wombwell but through Tankersley because they wanted to visit their newly born grand child. I asked them to install the stagecoach application then just type in the postcode of the house they wanted to visit. once they had installed the application they typed in the postcode and got the buses that went to wombwell through tanksley which are 67a,67b and 67c

Becoming a student voice representative.

I volunteered to become a course representative who takes issues from my class mates and feedback it to the college board and supervisors and make sure that the end results are that college students are highly satisfied and are in a safe learning environment which is inclusive.

I attended two meetings and managed to feedback the college board that the Honeywell campus needs to be renovated since the ceiling is constantly falling and how this is a serious safety hazard.

My business manger promoted me to becoming a crew trainer this basically means I get to train newly hired staff and she did this because I am reliable and I always go above and beyond with when I am at work.

I went for an interview at McDonalds in Pontefract and unfortunately I did not get the job because it was my first ever Job interview and I was soo nervous. However, I then reapplied at McDonalds again but a different store which is in Tankersley and because I had reflected on the mistakes I had done in my previous interview I knew what to and what not to do and I had memorised some of the questions and I knew the answers.

I was resilient in this case because I did not let not being accepted at a different store and still reapplied at a different store.

I have changed from using the bus and asking my mom to drop me off at college.

I walk instead and this reduces the amount of carbon dioxide I contribute in the environment that causes global warming.

I stopped eating a lot of beef recently and replaced it with sugar beans and mushroom soups to reduce my carbon footprint.

I also stopped having free McDonalds food when I am on my break at work instead I carry home cooked foods which are less processed.

I have done my sustainability E-learning course at college with all my class mates and we were educated on how to be more sustainable and what to do to be better humans who care for their environment. we were taught a lot of things such as not using a lot of gas and electricity at home and how doing something as little as turning lights off when you are not in a room could make a huge difference.

I have been a leader in one of our assessment work whereby I had to lead my group into building a wheel with just A4 paper and tape . my team and I managed to build a wheel that fit everyone and rolled whilst everyone was in it.
