عقدت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، أمس، مؤتمراً صحافياً بمبنى الوزارة، للإعلان عن تفاصيل احتفال قطر باليوم العالمي للمعلم، الذي يُقام تحت رعاية معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، غداً الخميس بمركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات. شارك في المؤتمر الصحافي السيدة فوزية عبدالعزيز الخاطر وكيل الوزارة المساعد للشؤون التعليمية بوزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، والسيد أحمد جسيماني مدير إدارة شؤون المعلمين، وأداره السيد حسن المحمدي مدير إدارة العلاقات العامة والاتصال.
سوف يجري خلال الاحتفال هذا العام، تكريم 100 معلم ومعلمة من قدامى المعلمين في قطر، ممن أمضوا عشرات السنين في مهنة التدريس بالمدارس الحكومية في الدولة؛ تقديراً لجهودهم، وفقاً لمعايير التكريم المتبعة في هذا الخصوص.
