Video Announcements
Class Challenges: 1.The class with the most bears wins some kind of prize. 2. We give each class a list of 10 questions that they need to answer. Each answer has a letter that spells a message that leads to a prize.
  
Educational Purposes: 1.We make a work space with videos, facts, photos e.t.c that the teacher can share with the class. 2. Each Class makes a video explaining what they learned and they can add it to the workspace for others to see.

-For bear witness day we should get the whole school outside for a picture, with everyone's teddy bears.

-Challenge each class to learn as much as they can about Jordan's principle on their own and show what they learnt by making posters or the Novel Boxes that we are making except with their info. We can display those in the Learning Commons.

-We should have the whole school do a rally outside like we did on Have a Heart dat but for Bear Witness Day.

-We should put on a puppet show for the Kindergartens, DE and assessment to explain all about bear witness day. 

-We should have the bear witness day video on our school website.

-Start a competition between classes for who can bring the most stuffed animals and\or money. The class that brings the most wins a giant class stuffed bear.


-Make posters and walk around the school  like a petition (like we did for Have A Heart Day)


-Have a draw (like the basket raffles) but instead with bears. You buy tickets and put them into the box in front of the bear you want. If your name (or class) gets picked you get the bear.

Talk about bear witness day / Jordans Principle on the morning announcements . We can get Mme.Mariani to sing on the announcements (at snack or lunch).
 
We can have an assembly in the gymnasium (any block) talking about the Bear Witness Day, and we can bring Makonse (the bear).
