Nowadays, it's a lot harder to live without digital competencies, because they have become a very important part of our lives, and it's easy to figure out why. Just think about how often you use your phone or your computer, or how many times you've called or sent messages to your friends and family.
Technology has made a lot of things easier for us, for example: if we don't know something, we can look it up on Google, if we want to apply for something, we can send an email, if we want to see a movie, we can watch it on Netlix or other streaming services. Furthermore, digital competencies are now required to get most jobs, and those that don't are slowly disappearing.
