Then, my students will take a few weeks to complete their research using a variety of digital resources. When they have finished their presentations, they will fill out the same questionnaire as before to communicate their understanding (along with their actual project) about what motivates candidates to run and their source(s) of commitment to social justice.  I will compare the written answers from the pre and post assessments looking for a few key pieces of data:

1. Length of response (in sentences) from pre to post
2. Difference in the length of time it takes for my students to fill out the questionnaire from pre to post
3. Depth of response from pre to post
4. Ability to include “topic specific” political vocabulary from pre to post
