There is no oppression, men and women are equal, race does not matter; a “color blind” society. I strongly agree with the idea that a society is made of the people. Architecture, location, climate, are all plus’ to an ideal city, however, it is the people’s attitudes and drive that make up how functional it is. Segregation between mankind is never the answer, and if people can live harmoniously together, that will reflect on the environment around them. I also believe human activities are important for one’s well being. Whatever one wishes to do: sports, cook, perform, practice fine arts. Activity is crucial for one’s sole and well being. Care for the environment is important as well in order to keep a clean and healthy city. One must think of the world holistically rather than individually. As Ancient Greek Philosopher, Protagoras, once said, “Man is the measure of all things”. Education to all man, “the ability to think freely”, is the most important. (Gaylord, wordpress.com).

Without care, a stable society cannot exist. Man must not only care for themselves, but care for all, because in the end, we are all co-existing. However, before one can care for others, they must remember that nothing can be achieved without self care. You must advocate for yourself and others to  make the world a better place. It is important that every human on this earth feels like they have a place in the world. That meaningful feeling is what keeps the world going. Without it, no one would have the motivation to strive in life and see a better future for all of mankind. This also falls into the category of humanism.

No matter what, that warm feeling in your stomach, the feeling that you have something to live for in such a  strange world, is what keeps you on track. Though arguable in some cases, people live for happiness. We go to school, get jobs, practice our passions, work countless hours, sport, play music, draw, communicate, love, all for the same reason; achieving a state of happiness or even euphoria. Though many of these things are also done to make money, it is the feeling of self accomplishment that allows us to feel and think positively. In the end, we are put on this earth, weather we know it or not, to feel. The ability to have emotions is why we are here today, and why we continue to live. It is obvious that the emotions we feel are not always good ones, but we live to experience the ups and downs of life. One cannot be happy without being the complete opposite as well. Happiness is the true motivator for mankind, and a healthy society cannot be established without it.
