This cycle happens regularly, and is evidenced through your child’s Pupil Profile. Your child’s class teacher will share the details of this profile with you as it is reviewed and updated and will record your views in the appropriate box on this document as and when you attend parents meetings or other meetings pertaining to your child’s needs.

SENDIASS Ealing is an impartial, confidential and free service funded by the council to support Ealing families.

Ealing’s Local Offer

All local authorities in the UK are required to publish information about education, health and social care services available in their area for children and young people (0-25 years old) who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). This is called the ‘Local Offer’.

The Local Offer:

gives information about education, health and family support services
gives information about leisure activities and support groups
makes service provision more responsive to local needs and aspiration
will be developed and reviewed with service users and service providers

The Local Offer is for:

children and young people with SEN and/or disabilities (SEND) from 0-25 years
parents and carers
practitioners and professionals

School Nursing Service

The School Nursing Service offers advice and support for children and young people of school age.

They work with us and our families to help children stay healthy and get the support they need.

You can ask for support from the School Nursing Service if you have concerns about your child’s health or wellbeing. This might include things like:

Physical health concerns
Emotional wellbeing
Long-term health conditions

Support is only provided with parental or carer consent.
