Actually I broke my dad's windows xp computer when i was 6. There was no internet at the time. I was playing around the system unit and accidentally tipped it over and fell. I was very scared at that moment and texted my dad a very very long message saying not to belt me. When he arrived, we were calm, I explained to him what happened and after that he replugged the computer altogether and shown a bluescreen of death. That was the last time I saw that bulky computer boot up. Years later my dad bought a new computer with windows 7, this time with internet via ethernet only. Although my mother would force me to memorise multiplication table in exchange for an hour of using it. I was using it a lot and its where I wondered how these software work in the first place but the thought wasnt sincere enough. In my 4th grade, my classmates and even my teachers would ask me for computer technical help since I had more experience with basic troubleshooting. Its also where I first learned html. At that time I had no interest learning things, its was all line of 7 or 8. But throughout the years I found my potential in this field studying programming languages, switching linux distros, pointers and memory, google tech and gdsc, all the merry. Souring high in my academics, exploiting whats wrong with software, looking through latest technologies and libraries until what I am today. Now as a freshman in computer science, I swear to expand my knowledge in the field and become a computer scientist especially computer vision and artificial intelligence for a very crucial reason.

It's quite interesting course but I guess it is challenging for a student to take this course.

I chose this course because I want to know more about programming although I still don't have experience on programming. Hopefully, I'll learn about branch of computer science. Also, I've heard that it is one of the demand job and high salary.

I choose this program (BSCS) because I want to explore programming and solve real world problems. As I set my goal which is to become a Software Engineer, I made some research of what path should I take to achieve this goal or job and BSCS is one of the most recommended course to become SWE.

Programming is very fun to learn and fun to experiment on. I would love to learn more about programming and why it is useful for todays generation. With it providing a high demanding job as of right now and my passion I would love to learn more.

Choosing computer science as my program is unexpected. I actually wanted to pursue medical related programs but knowing our financial status, I can’t help but to let it stay as a dream. I choose computer science because the program's name intrigues me. I have also searched that it is very in demand in the community, given the fact that we are currently living in a high-tech era. I actually don't have a background on programming but I am eager to learn and listen. I just hope that I can survive this program and it can provide a better opportunity for me to earn in the future.

i chose BSCS track because i believe it will improve my area of expertise when it comes to vast and evolving technology and also i believe this is where I can overcome my talent and skills.

Learning and Creating

I chose the Computer Science course because I previously already have a good knowledge about programming. I learned it from my friends from Europe and the United states, they taught me the basics. But not all of them since they were practically busy with life. One day, maybe we can make a game together based on my friend group. I'm glad I chose this course and managed to shift from Civil Engineering (yes, I can draw and stuff but I felt like BSCE isn't for me) and I am ready to learn and achieve more in this course.

You can make students' dreams turned to reality. I know that you are not easy - but many of us believe that you will make an impact and change our life as we get to know you along the way. I know that we will be filled with hardships and obstacles but most importantly, the joy and memories that we will make in our journey.

Many students have been forced to choose another course because you are not yet available in USTP, though XU has, but how we wish we can afford the tuition fees - and yes, I am one of those students.

As an incoming second year student, taking IT, I felt sad. How I wish we were the pioneering batch in the university. I know I have the choice to shift but you also know how hard it is for us not to graduate on time especially when our parents are already waiting for us to help them.

I may have not chose you, but at least, I met you. I hope you can inspire more people and as they were learning you, I hope that they will never forget your purpose - which is to create programs and innovative solutions in order to create something to help the community.

Maybe this is not the time. Maybe you are not for me. Life is crazy like the characters in comics - though it could be funny, interesting, or ironic. For now, I guess, I'll just have to see you in the funny papers.

Choosing this course is not a joke, knowing the course's name "Computer Science" murag mo labad na akung ulo. This might be not the best choice, but maybe God given me this opportunity to became a good entrepreneur that will mold the best me in the future.

BSCS is cool. I find programming fun. I find mathematics challenging, which is fun. It very much suits my interest. The career opportunities are great, and the average salary is pretty good. So, yeah. Computer Science.
