Answer: I think ELLS do not get much one on one assistance from teachers. Teachers have a hard time being able to help ELLs as much as they need because of large class sizes. ELLs are just kind of expected to teach themselves and pick up what they can based on what the teacher is teaching the entire class.

Answer: I know that there are a lot of strategies, approaches and models that teachers can incorporate into the classroom that are beneficial for both ELLs and students who speak only English. I do not know any specifics about what the strategies, approaches, or models are.

Originally, before starting this program I would have had a similar answer to the student I asked. However, now I would agree with my parent.
