Senator Salvador was astounded by his performance, that’s why he presented him with a scholarship that allows him to change his course and take up music. 

When he graduated from the UP College of Music earning a degree in Bachelor of Music, Major in Composition. Then he became a professor for the Department of Composition and Music Theory in UP Diliman for about two decades.

His mother, Celerina Venson Pujante, is an opera singer and professor at the University of the Philippines’ College of Music. Because of this, he began having piano lessons as early as the age of four.

At the age of six, he already experienced losing a loved one. His mother died because of cancer. Before her demise, she requested that none of her children should pursue music careers due to hardships she encountered during the days of her teaching career.

However, his fate might be really into music. Back when he was walking behind UP, he suddenly stumbled upon a box full of piano pieces from the music students at that time. He used the manuscript of piano lesson to learn again. He was able to perform Johann Sebastian Bach's preludes and a solo piano reduction of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue

At the very early age of 15, he managed to get a secured job of being a pianist of a bank’s chorale which helped him get an income to fund his college studies. 

While he was in college, he had to join the former Senator Salvador Laurel as an accompanist for the Development Bank of the Philippines Chorale Ensemble to sustain his studies.

His projects included Ryan Cayabyab singers, a group of seven young adult singers similar to the former Smokey Mountain in the 1990s. 

He is also the executive director of the Philhop MusicFest Foundation Inc. the ones behind the Philippine Popular Music Festival. A songwriting competition exclusively for amateurs and professionals that encourage Filipinos to safeguard our own musical identity.

A bamboo buzzer instrument tube that's only closed on one side

It is a combination of both an idiophone and aerophone

It is played by the people of Kalinga from North Luzon or the Cordillera region. 

With one hand, the player grips the lower end of the tube while striking the higher end with the other arm's wrist.

The dimensions of the instrument vary from 30 to 50 cm. depending on the tonal height.

It can be used for solo or ensemble performances.

Each performer has a unique beat that is intertwined with the others
