The hair was tested to be Anna's. There was vomit near the body. There was a syringe on the floor in the room. The substance in the syringe was tested to be Insulin (Humulin). There was a spilled glass that had fingerprints on it and contained an orange liquid. The fingerprints were tested to belong to Alex Garcia. There was a muddy footprint found on the floor of the room that looked similar in size and shape to Anna's shoes. She had stopped to take her Aspirin and Insulin. Unfortunately, she gave herself an inaccurate dosage, causing her to go into either hypoglycemia, Aspirin poisoning, or a combination of both. In hypoglycemia, a person can experience shakiness, dizziness, a rapid heartbeat, cold sweats, blurred vision, seizures, loss of conciseness, going into a coma, or even death. This could explain why Anna was face down, why her Insulin was on the floor near her, why her flip-phone was left open on the floor, and why the light was knocked over. Anna overdosing with her Insulin could also explain why there was blood at the scene if she had become dizzy as she was trying to prick herself in order to test her blood sugar. In Aspirin poisoning, the person can experience tinnitus, hyperventilation, vomiting, dehydration, fever, fainting, confusion, bizarre behavior, unsteady walking, and coma. This could explain why Anna was face down, why there were pills next to the body, why the flip-phone was left open, why the light was knocked over, and why there was vomit. Anna got home from a run and was taking her diabetes medicine and something caused it to go horribly. Anna had swollen ankles, or signs of edema. Certain diabetes medications can also cause edema. Anna had vomit in her oral cavity and signs of oxygen deprivation. This could mean that after Anna took her medication, she got sick and choked on her own vomit. This can also be backed by her blue/gray fingernails and toenails- caused by a lack of oxygen. Another backing for this idea would be her swollen abdomen as your abdomen can swell or become inflamed when you get sick or have a negative reaction to medication. The reaction also cause Anna's ankles to swell. Swollen ankles and a lack of oxygen caused Anna to fall, hitting her right elbow and right temple.
