3. The three scientists were Theodor Schwann, Matthias Jacob Schleiden, and Ruldolf Virchow. 
4. The first thing that had to come first was the creation of the microscope. Then to come was using the tool to see the cells, and then so on. From that one creation, it led to scientists who went to study cells, and learn about them.
