My parents were teachers. When I was a child, we weren't rich. Our house was in a small town. It wasn't a big house. My family was small: me, my parents, and my grandfather. My grandfather was old. He was kind and funny. But when he wasn't well, he wasn't happy.
I remember my favorite toy. It was a helicopter. It was a present from my grandfather. And I remember my first bicycle. It was red and it was fantastic. My friend Jack's bike was blue. When I was ten, my best friends were Jack and Nathan. They were in my class at school. We were bored at school. But when we were on vacation, it was great. We were typical boys!
