Birth and settling in Zipaquira (1990-1993)

I was born in Bogota, in 1990. It was a hard time for everyone in the country, but specially for people who lived in big cities. My parents decided to move out to a quiet place, so, when they could afford it, they bought a house and the five of us (my parents, my brothers and I) went to live in Zipaquira , when I was two.

My first pet (2000)

One Sunday, my mom and I heard a desperate meow that came from the roof, but we couldn't see what was the source. A few hours later, we felt surprised when a small grey and black tabby kitten appeared in front of us, asking for food. He was skinny and had sad eyes, so my mom fed him. We didn't plan to have a pet, but he chose us and stayed with us for several years.

A dangerous oversight (2005)

I was at tenth grade when, one day, I returned home by microbus as usual after school. I got off the microbus in front of my house and started to cross the street, but at the same time I saw a neighbor who lained out the next window, so I said "hi". At that moment I didn't hear the sound of other microbus approaching to me really slowly. Unfortunately, the microbus driver wasn't checking his way, so he knocked me down, and passed me over, until a man watched everything and yelled him, so he stopped. Luckily for me, I didn't get badly hurt. My family and I were really grateful for that.

A sad moment (2006)

When I finished high school I was really scared for my future because I didn´t get to National University, and I wanted to study medicine there so badly, that I cried a river for several days. After that, I tried again twice and got frustated because the second time I was really close, but the third time I got a lower score, so, finally I had to give up on that dream.

A new path (2008-2012)

Finally, thanks to my family's economic and affective support I was able to got to University Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca to study my first profession. I felt hopeful and excited about it because even if it wasn't my main option, I learnt to love it. It's a terrific career and it's based on science, what else could I ask for?

The happiest day of my life (2019)

It was a rainy day and I felt so nervous that it's ironic that I consider it as my happiest day, but it was. I said yes to my husband in front of all my loved ones to promise each other to support us in every way to reach our goals. We spent a great time sharing with both families, ate cake and a delicious lunch, danced and laughed a lot. They were too many feelings in just one day.

My first airplane trip (2019)

My husband and I went to San Andres Island to have our honeymoon. At the same time, it was my first experience taking an airplane, so he supported me all the time as we arrived to the airport. He gave me advices about every step to board the plane, and when we landed he took my hand and calmed me down. The trip was a fantastic experience, the beache there are gorgeus.

My first concert (2014)

I was so happy to get tickets to assist the concert of one of my favorite bands "Cafe Tacuba" that I still remember those moments clearly. I met my brother after work and we went to the theather by motorcycle. I felt so satisfied with the show that I didn't care about the cold weather even when I'm really sensitive to cold. At the end of the day we were voiceless.

My favorite trip (2023)

My vacation trip in 2023 is my favorite because I could travel with my whole family. My parents, my brothers, my sister-in-law, my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful landscapes from Santander in a relaxing trip for five days. I felt full of joy to see their happy faces as we discovered the view in "Cañón del Chicamocha" and we laughed as children in the aquatic park. It was a really good time.

A new beginning (2023)

I decided to star a new career to get more job opportunities and have a better life. But my biggest epiphany came when I realized that I've always loved english and that I could take advantage of it to help others to improve their lifes too. So, I forgot my worries about my age and began this journey again.
