I look forward to using my experience as a mother to advocate for all children I hope to encounter along my new journey in student counseling. I am also a counseling student and a active member in our school & church communities. 

I completed my practicum at Upper Merion Middle School and my Internship at Colonial Elementary School. My favorite part so far is one on one meetings with students. I like to get to know them and learn about their background and how I can help.

I would like to help with children with disabilities and social indifferences. There are so many without the proper education and resources for change. As a counselor we have the ability to advocate for students which I am passionate about.

My brother is deaf and cannot hear or speak. I am fluent in American Sign Language.

I realized after I had my first two children I didn't want to be in an instruction/classroom role.

Since then, I have worked at Drexel University in Student Affairs and also I was a preschool lead teacher at a local school in between having my children. 

My youngest is 3 and now it is my turn to put my career goals first and I am looking forward to it!
