The Wooden Soccer Goal

In the novel El Gato has recently won a World Cup, and he is getting interviewed. El Gato tells his story, he lived in logging town by the jungle. When he was a kid he went into the forest and he found a soccer field with wooden goals. There he found the Keeper, which chaged his life forever. The Keeper trained El Gato intensely to become a really good goal Keeper. "I gained stamina. I grew stronger,"(p.42). El Gato said this to Faustino during the interview, to explain how he was changing because of his efforts while training. The book is nice, because it is about soccer, and it is easy to understand: it is also pretty interesting, and it does not bore me.
