         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Top-level managers:</strong></p><p>“The Boss”</p><p><strong>Titles: </strong>Chief executive officer (CEO); chief operations officer (COO); etc ...</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What do they do: </strong></p><p>These managers are mainly for the long-term success of the business and set goals for such.&nbsp; They focus on external factors of the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Middle managers:</strong> </p><p><strong>Titles: </strong>department head; chief supervisor or director; etc ... </p><p><br></p><p><strong>What do they do:</strong></p><p>They are the glue which assist in keeping the communication flowing between the departments managers to the top-level managers.&nbsp; As such middle managers must be good communicators. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>First-line managers:</strong> </p><p><strong>Titles: </strong>assistant manager; shift manager; office manager;  etc ...</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What do they do: </strong></p><p>They are the entry level mangers which are in the most contact with the day-to-day workers. They make sure that the organizational objectives are implemented and efficiently followed. They are the first to see if a process is efficient. </p>]]></description>
