Main idea: In La Luna a boy, the father, and grandfather go to clean and shape the moon. 
Theme: You don't have to be the same as everybody else, You can be yourself.
Examples and Explanation: They wanted the little boy to be like they were, so the father and grandfather changed the way he looked and they way he did his job. At the end the boy was happy with the way,decisions he made because he didn't want to be like them, he wanted to be him.

Explanation/Examples:  You should never judge a book by its cover, meaning that you should always get to know a person before ever judging them. In this case, the small birds judged the big one because they didn't know him. Examples and explanation: 
The father and grandfather wanted the boy to be just like them, they kept changing how his hat looked and how he did his job, but the boy refused to follow what they said after a while and chose to wear his hat the way he wanted to and he chose how he wanted to do his job. In the end the boy and his family were happy with the decisions he made.
