This film would be about two sports players who have this rivalry on who is best.

My audience would target athletes, particularly for the sport this film is about. I would also like to target children for they are the easiest to inspire with such young minds. 

An important point is to learn from others and your own mistakes.

I want the audience to feel compelled and enthralled in this.

He was young and full of energy with the strive to become the best he could be. He wasn't that talented, but he knew hard work was key so kept to his training. Shining in his orange and blue clothing, he kept practicing and practicing. He had black, spiky hair with a jawline chiseled like the gods.  While others were intimidated by him, he always had a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. 

The most talented person in the world, seen on ESPN's top prospects yearly. He was as prideful as he was rich with his exorbitant clothes and equipment. He felt like he was on top, until the fateful day he met (Character #1). He felt disgusted after tasting bitter defeat. He had been boasting of his skills to everyone but had lost to a nobody. He vowed to beat this nobody until no one knew of him.

Although this story relates to me and a certain cousin, I mainly chose this narrative because I found inspiration of it from something else. This story mainly matters to me because the key point I'm trying to get across is that one should always strive to be better and they can do that by learning.

I know this sounds weird, but the simple fact is that this is a clash. Many people like clashes and these would be physical and mental clashes. One of them is an arrogant player while the other is humble and pure. Hopefully, they will physically clash on the pitch/field/court, but not too sure. Another thing I believe that catches the audience is the fact that it is a sport. Many athletes will watch a show or film because their sport is involved. 

I plan to grab their attention by starting off unexpectedly. In most of my films, I've been going extremely calm and slow-paced, but this would be different. I want to try to catch their attention differently. Especially with this dialogue requirement, and yes I know it isn't a good time to try something new on an important grade, I still would like to try a different thought

This last week went the fastest. I was slightly behind because of some family stuff, but I was able to catch up very quickly. I also did stay up extremely late like right now, so I could finish my work quicker. My deadline before I'd be screwed was June 29th 9 AM, so around June 28th 7 PM in Phoenix. The challenging part was this deadline because it scared me into not turning it in on time. I don't believe anything Mr. Burr could have done better. When I asked for help, I received it on time.

This sounds weird, but the most valuable thing I learned was how to handle critique. For my second and third week, I was given some critique in which I wanted to try and handle more. For my second week, I was asked to not give the generic medium shots too much so I focused on angles for my third week. For my third week's project, I was told that I had no narrative, so I wanted to focus on the story narrative rather than just someone talking to someone else and saying "the problem is". Usually, I just ignore the critique and say "they are just saying that to annoy me", but it is genuinely to help me get better and improve.

I kind of enjoyed my story because it had some degree of inspiration. I am somewhat proud of my project, but I sadly couldn't fit all of my ideas into it. I believe if I was able to fit it all in, I would've gone to 7-8 pages because I wanted it to be thorough. I think what went well is story idea. I definitely believe that I could've executed it better. The way I introduce the dialogue requirement also can be seen as odd and unexpected, so I do understand if someone got confused from the sudden dialogue. I definitely think many things could've gone better. My story is extremely tacky and the ending is embarrassing/cringey. While it is those, I definitely enjoyed it still. 

I liked the flexibility you gave with us and how you structured the class. Although my projects got progressively grade-wise worse and worse, it was good structure. It went from learning the basics, to learning how to plan, to mastering it with a hint of story-telling, and then story-telling mastery. For mobile media, I think you went with a great way, especially on the concept of starting at basics/mastering the basics and going from there. Something I would do is add maybe a couple FAQ's for the weekly projects or add a bit more FAQ's you've gotten to the start? I know I had asked many questions, and maybe some other students did too? If they did, maybe some future students might have the same question and you could put less stress on yourself by adding something small like that.
Mainly things that I would try to focus on for this class improvement-wise is making things less stressful for the teacher as the class is already self-explanatory with the videos and instructions on canvas. I feel like it can get pretty hard constantly waiting and checking for emails in case any students need help, so it might be helpful for the FAQ's and other ideas that would lessen the burden.
