Warona is a kind and gentle little boy in our group who enjoys being part of shared activities. He is comfortable playing alongside his peers and is beginning to show awareness of others during group play, though he tends to engage more independently. He responds positively to adult guidance and listens well to instructions, often trying his best to follow what is asked of him. Warona benefits from consistent adult support and encouragement to help him stay focused and complete tasks. He does not yet show much initiative in choosing or starting activities on his own and usually requires gentle prompting to participate or explore new experiences. With continued reassurance, structured support and positive reinforcement, he will continue to develop his confidence and independence in group settings. I am so proud of what he has achieved thus far.

Body Awareness

Warona has had a wonderful term and continues to make lovely progress in many areas of his development. He is very active and enthusiastic during outdoor play, showing great energy and enjoyment in physical activities. His drawing skills have developed beautifully and he can now create detailed pictures of the human body, confidently naming and identifying different body parts. He is becoming more consistent in crossing his midline and shows clear dominance with his right hand, foot and eye. Warona demonstrates growing spatial awareness, recognising objects in space and understanding directional words with increasing confidence. He also shows an impressive knowledge of the days, week and months of the year. He particularly enjoys action songs, which bring out his joyful and expressive side. It has been a pleasure to see his confidence blossom this year and I am so proud of all his achievements.

Gross Motor Development

Warona's gross motor coordination is strong, with good control when running, jumping and throwing. He shows improving confidence when navigating obstacle courses. His enthusiasm for active play is helping to strengthen both coordination and endurance. Well done Warona.

Fine Motor Skills

Warona's fine motor skills are becoming more refined, with greater control in drawing, colouring and cutting. He loves drawing pictures of wild buffalo, dogs, animals and people and perfectly detailed too. Very impressive. He enjoys completing puzzles and demonstrates focus and determination. This is one of his most favourite things to do. I am so proud of you, my sweetheart and am going to miss your beautiful creations.

Visual and Auditory Development

Warona enjoys handwriting activities and tracing along dotted lines, which have helped him to strengthen his fine motor control and letter formation. Sensory trays and movement activities have supported his learning, helping him to explore letters and sounds in fun, engaging ways while moving in different directions.
