My inner child has more wounds that I would like, however, what I do, is to Try to reconcile with my inner child talking to her, and listening her with a pice of compassion.

I´m really glad be healed wounds, It is supposed to each person should do for being calm and feeling selfconfidence.

A few weeks passed since I arrived in Bogotá, I ran out of money, and the only thing on my mind was the phrase: it is a test situation that life presents to me, which will help me in my next process when I get hired. I told my roomie about the situation, and he suggested I take a job as a waiter in a restaurant where the owner was his friend, while I wait to be hired, which I accepted.

Two weeks passed when one day, while I was working at the restaurant, I suddenly received a call from the company that would hire me later. I shouted with joy and began the hiring process. At that moment, I spoke with the restaurant owner; the joy she felt for the opportunity that had presented itself to me was evident on her face, and she said to me, "Carlos, all you need to do is focus on the hiring process, take any tests you need, and come to the restaurant whenever you can."

Indeed, the hiring process began, and I got the job. The start date was October 24, 2017. The day before starting my first job, without enough money in my wallet, I decided to do some shopping at the D1 store on NQS in front of the National University near Paloquemao (where I lived at that time). Since I had little money, I decided to walk back home. A few meters after leaving the D1, a person on a motorcycle stopped and asked me for directions. Oblivious to the danger, Innocently, I approached to help him. At that moment, he threatened me with a weapon and told me it was a robbery. My heart raced as I assessed my options while adrenaline coursed through my veins. I was on the verge of pushing him, but immediately considered the consequences and didn't want to end up injured. In the end, I chose to give him my cellphone and the bag with the few things I had bought. In my mind, there was only one thought:

The place where I often go to buy groceries is the cause of this robbery because of how far it is from home.

If this guy shoots, several people could get hurt.

The police, whom I trust, are not nearby to stop him.

During the robbery, the person asked me where I was from, and I told him I was from Cúcuta and was in the city looking for work. Surprisingly, he returned the bag with the groceries and said to me, "Take it, kid, I'm not taking your food, you need it. Also, take the documents, you need those too." I didn't know whether to be offended or to thank him for his kind act. In the end, I returned home with the groceries, without a cellphone, and without money. I went without a phone for a month until my best friend, the person I trust the most, lent me his credit card and accompanied me to buy a new one.
