Keith Haring was an American artist whose work was influenced by pop art and the underground club scene, and emerged from the New York graffiti subculture in the 1980s. He enjoyed drawing and learned the fundamentals of cartooning from his father. His art features sexual allusions that are turned into social activism, which played a crucial role in his work as he addressed pressing topics such as racism, homophobia, drug addiction, and HIV/AIDS awareness. Haring sought to make work that was accessible to the general public. His fame grew as a result of his impromptu subway paintings, which included chalk outlines of people and dogs. As his work grows in popularity, he expands his murals to larger scales. Haring collaborated with well-known artists such as Andy Warhol.

•Pop artist Andy Warhol was a well-known figure in the movement. He was a pioneer in all genres of art because of his artistic risks and persistent experimenting with media. His unorthodox style and celebrity entourage aided in his ascension to stardom. He was noted for his flamboyant prints of pop culture and advertisement icons from the 1950s and 1960s, such as Marylin Monroe and David Bowe.
