Using simple shapes and patterns, using combinations of any colors you like, you can draw nature, animals and even people! What we love about it is that it is easy to do whatever you draw looks good, since water smoothes the edges of your masterpiece and bright colors make your painting stand out! 
To create pictures on water you need special thickener to make surface better for drawing. Also you need special paints with are made from natural components and some stuff to creat patterns on water. 
And the most important: you should use all your imagination and be ready to try something new. You don't have to be good at painting, just enjoy the process!
Unfortunately, every hobbie has its challenges. In ebru art, even a slight wave of wind can destroy your masterpiece and no matter how hard you try, you cant make another one that would look the same. Each painting is unique. But isn't it good?
