Luis de la Figuera Lezcano (Zaragoza, 1869 - Zaragoza, 3-XI-1941). Painter and architect, who studied at the Higher School of Architecture in Madrid, obtaining the title in 1897.

Among other positions, he was the diocesan architect of Zaragoza, curator of national monuments, architect of the Ministry of Public Instruction and president of the commission at the VII National Congress of Architects held in Zaragoza in 1919.

His projects move in a conservative and eclecticist tone. An example of his criteria in historical buildings is the task of enlarging and partially decorating the Zaragoza Casino in the current Palace of Sástago, which he carried out in 1904. The lack of documentation on some of the works attributed to him suggests that it is best to wait for make a final judgement.
