         <description><![CDATA[<div>We are arriving at Gatwich airport at about 8:50 a.m.. Then we are going to the hotel, so we are taking the train from the Gatwich express from the Platform 4. This train is leaving at 9:15. Then we are taking the bus n. 36 from the Victoria Station. This bus is bringing us to St. Mary Hospital that is close from our hotel.</div>]]></description>

         <title>LONDON EYE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Near our hotel there is also an underground station, the Paddington underground. There we are taking the Bakerloo train and we are arriving at Waterloo Station. Then we are going to do a tour on the London Eye at 12:05. The tour will last about 30 minutes.<br>The London Eye, of which the true name is Coca Cola London Eye, is the highest panoramic wheel of Europe. It is located on the South bank of the River Thames and is the highest observation point of London, in fact from its cabins is possible&nbsp; seeing all the city.<br>This actrattion was inaugurated at 8.00 p.m. of 31 december 1999. From this fact came its second name "Millenium Wheel".<br>This wheel is supported by connecting bars that make it look like a big wheel of a bicycle.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>TOWER BRIDGE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the trip on the London Eye, we are going to the London Bridge, so we are taking the Jubilee Stratford that left the Waterloo Underground Station at about 13:01. We are arriving to the London Bridge Underground Station at about 13:16.<br>There we are eating in the fast food "Leon" at the Parliament St 48. The tour of the Tower Bridge is starting at 14:10 and is lasting 20 minutes and is costing 45,16€.<br>London Bridge is a bridge over the Thames in London, which connects the City of London to the London borough of Southwark.<br>The first bridge over the Thames was built in wood by the Romans. In two centurys this bridge was destroyed and rebuilt so many times.<br>The current London Bridge was designed by the engineering company Mott, Hay and Anderson. The construction work lasted from 1967 to 1972, and was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II on March 17, 1973. The cost of building was  £ 4 million. <br>After the tour we are backing to the hotel and then we are having dinner to the Garfunkel's restaurant.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>THE THAMES</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The London Eye is situated near the famous river Thames. The Thames is one of the most famous river in the world, in fact it across the city of London and is a very important commercial way.&nbsp;<br>It was discovered under the Roman emperor Claudius in 43 AD. while the Roman legions invaded and occupied Britain.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;In 1066 William the Conqueror built many castles along its banks; the most famous is the Tower of London.&nbsp;<br>In 1800 the Thames was one of the busiest waterways in the world, in fact in that period Great Britain was one of the biggest power in the world .<br>In January 2006, a 5-meter whale climbed the Thames to central London. This proved that the Thames is still clean.</div>]]></description>

         <title>NATIONAL GALLERY</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The third&nbsp; day we are visiting other three places. They are the National Gallery,&nbsp; Trafalgar Square and the Greenwich Observatory. In the morning at about 9:30 we are taking the Bakerloo Elephant &amp;&nbsp; Castle from Paddington to Charring Cross Station.<br>At about 10:00 we are starting the visit at the gallery that is very cheap: it's free!The National Gallery is one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world, in fact in this Gallery are conservated a lot of famous paintings of every art school. It leads into Trafalgar Square.&nbsp;<br>This gallery was built and opened in 1824. At the beginning, it wasn't near Trafalgar Square, but it was situated in Pall Mall Street.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; During the World War II, all the paintings were moved to Galles and the National Gallery was used like a concert hall.<br>At the beggining the Gallery was smaller than the present, but over the years it was enlarged with addition of every kind of tendency: from the modern to the greecian.</div>]]></description>

         <title>HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the Big Ben we are visiting the House of Parlament, also know as " The Palace of Westmister". We are visiting it tanks to an audio guide that is costing £18,50 perperson. The tour is lasting about 75 minutes.<br>This palace is the building of London where the two chambers of the United Kingdom Parliament are located. The oldest part of the building, Westminster Hall, dates back to 1097 while the most of the current structure dates back to the nineteenth century. This building has  floors, 1100 rooms, 100 staircase and 48 km of hallway.<br>The Parliament has met there since 1295.<br>The Parliament is made up of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.<br>The House of Parliament has been the scene of a famous attempt (Dust Conspiracy). After this fact was instituted the Guy Fawkes Night.</div>]]></description>

         <title>SHAKESPEARE GLOBE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At about 13:00 we are arriving at the Globe. The tour is costing 19,62 € perperson and is lasting half an hour. <br>This theatre is the recreation of the thatre here Shakespeare made his fabolous plays. The original was made in wood. Its drawing was octagonal and had a opening on the roof. Under this opening there was the platform. The opening was necessary because there wasn't artificial light so the plays were rappresented during the day and used the sunlight. The name Globe came from the fact that on the dome were painting the stars and the other celestial bodys. In this theatre there was enough space for 3200 people. The Globe was opened in 1599 ca but it was destroyed in 1643. After about four century it was rebuilt (1997) and in the new theatre are still rappresenting Shakespeare's plays.</div>]]></description>

         <title>ROYAL OBSERVATORY OF GREENWICH</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The last place which we are visiting the third day is the Greenwich Observatory.&nbsp;<br>At about 13:00 we are having lunch at the pub "The Admirality" and then we are taking the southeastern Gillingham that is leaving Charing Cross Station at 14: 30 and is arriving at the Blackheath Station ( near the observatory) at 15:00. The visit is costing £6,5.<br>This observatory is situated on the Greenwich park's hill. Greenwich is a South-west suburb of London.<br>This observatory was opened on 22 june 1675. In this place the maritime routes were studied and so many innovations and discoverys were made. As a sign of gratitude for this work, the Washington commision decided that the point of reference for the calculation of the Longitude will be the Greenwich observatory.On the basis of this meridian the emispheres east and west were established and also the changing of the time.<br>At about 17:00 we are leaving Greenwich and at about 18:00 we are arriving at the Tony's House Hotel and at about 19:30 we are having dinner at the Chicken Cottage Restaurant.</div>]]></description>

         <title>BIG BEN</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The second day we are visiting the Big Ben, the House of Parlament and Buckingam Palace.The first monument is the Big Ben. Unfortunately only some specific English citiziens can visit the Clock Tower.<br> In the morning, at about 9:00 we are taking the Bakerloo Elephant &amp; Castle and then the Jubilee Stratford. At about 9:20 we are arriving at Westmister Station. Near this station there is the Big Ben.<br>Big Ben is the largest bell in the tower clock at the northeast corner of the Westminster palace. This Clock Tower, also know as "the Elizabeth Tower", is 96 metres tall and plays every quarter of an hour. <br>Its hammer weighs 200 kilos while the dials of the watch measures 8 meters.</div>]]></description>

         <title>BUCKINGAM PALACE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The last monument which we are visiting on Tuesday is Buckingam Palce, but first we are having lunch in the fast food KFC where we will eat fish and chips. In the afternoon we are visiting Buckingam Palce. Unfortunately it isn't open during the winter but we can visit the big gardens.<br>This palace is the last of the second day. After that we are going for a walk across London. At about 20:00 we are having dinner at the pub Bag O Nails, which is at the 6 of Buckingham Palace Rd.&nbsp;<br>Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the Queen and symbolizes the British monarchy.<br>The first building was built in 1633 and wasn't a Royal property. Later it became a Royal property, was rebuilt and was used to private residence for the Royal family. During the Second World War the palace was bombed.&nbsp;<br>In the palace there are 775 rooms, 52 bedrooms, 188 servants rooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. Its dimensions are 108 metres for 120 metres and it's 24 metres high.<br>The palace offers work to 450 people.<br>A famous aspect of this palace is the "Changing of the Royal Guard" that is famous in all the world. An another characterist are the beatiful and big gardens.<br>After the visit to the Royal Gardens we are backing to the hotel and then we are having dinner to the Hard Rock Cafè.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>TOWER OF LONDON</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The last day of our trip we are visiting the Tower of London, the Shakespeare Globe and Hyde Park. At about 9:00 we are going to the Tower if London by foot. It takes avout two hours, so we will arrive at about 11:00. The tour is costing 28,63 € perperson.<br>The Tower of London is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. In 1078 it was built by William the Conqueor. The castle was used, starting in 1100, as a prison. At the beginning of its history, the palace also served as a royal residence. In the Tower of London are also preserved the Crown Jewels.</div>]]></description>

         <title>HYDE PARK</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At about 14:00 we are having lunch in the Anchor Bankside pub. After that we are going to Hyde Park by foot. We are spending there all the afternoon<br>Hyde Park is one of the nine Royal parks in London. It is divided into two parts by the artificial Serpentine Lake. In this park there are commercial activies, bars, sport fields and playgrounds. It has been also the site of many rock concerts of famous Group like Queen or Rolling Stones. This park has a monumental entrance called La Grand Entrance. The park has various themed gardens. In this park there are also some monuments dedicated to famous people like the princess Diana or to the Holocaust's victims.</div>]]></description>

         <title>TRAFALGAR SQUARE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The second place we are visiting is the Trafalgar Square which is in front of the National Gallery.<br>In origins this place was a kind of zoo and then it became the Royal Stables location. In the 19<sup>th </sup>century the architect John Nasch built this square which was named "Trafalgar Square" in onor of the Trafalgar Battle. The square was opened on 1° May 1844.<br>In November 1843 was added to the square the Nelson's Pilar. This monument is a bronze pilar of 51,59 m with four lions at the base and a statue of the admiral Nelson at the top.<br>Trafalgar Square is also famous for its fountains and the Fourth plinths, which is a pedestal used like a base for the exposithion of workarts that change. <br><br></div>]]></description>

The bus is arriving at the Neathouse Place, so we are taking the Southern train from the Victoria Station. At about 18:00 we are arriving at the Gatwich Airport. Our plane is leaving at 18:45 and is arriving at Marco Polo Airport at 21:45.</div>]]></description>
