Our brain contains neurons. Lots of them. And together, they help us do things. But we aren’t stuck with the neurons we were born with. Through trial and error, our neurons develop, making new connections. Or, simply put, making us smarter. So we can make ourselves smarter.
A growth mindset is when we realize these things. We don’t see errors as bad things, but rather opportunities. You’re not a math person, no. You will be a math person. And people with growth mindsets have shown to do better in school, because they don’t just work with the talents they have, but work to create new ones.

Our brain has billions of neurons, and they help us do things. Those neurons can grow and develop, making more connections, which means we can learn new things, and become smarter. You just have to have a growth mindset. A growth mindset is when you don't see mistakes as mistakes, you see them as opportunities. It means you have a positive mindset and you know you can accomplish what you're trying to succeed in. People with growth mindsets have been shown to do better in school because they take the knowledge they have and work with it to great new knowledge.

The difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset is the room to grow. If you think you have no room to grow than you won’t. The neurons in your brain that help you do things can be told that mistakes are learning points instead of wrongdoing. An example of a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset is in basketball, say you can’t shoot threes, so whenever you play or practice, you don’t shoot them at all or even think about it. That is a fixed mindset. A growth mindset would be practicing threes and giving yourself the opportunity to mess up, but grow at the same time.

Which means you have a positive mindset so that you can finish what you are trying to get better at.

The neurons in our brain help us think and do stuff. But as we grow and get older the neurons grow and develop too. As they develop they make new connections so we can learn more. Also, when you have a growth mindset you don’t think you are stupid when you make a mistake, you work on it until you get it right. So you just have to be positive to have a growth mindset.

I learned that there are lots of neurons in our brain. They all work together to help us succeed, and try new things. Having a growth mindset makes the neurons think of mess ups, or mistakes, as a learning opportunity. Where as if you don’t have a growth mindset, you might think of mistakes as failures. Having a growth mindset can also lead to a positive mindset. If you don’t have a growth mindset, you might think your dumb and there’s no reason to try again because your born with your talents and mistakes and you can’t fix them, but you can. You just have to develop a growth mindset first.

I learned by making mistakes your also making your brain grow. You shouldn’t be upset because you made mistakes you should be happy because your gonna end up learning from the mistakes you made. The more mistakes you make the more you learn. You could even become faster at thinking about things. So make mistakes because that’s the only thing that helps you learn.
