One day he tried to create a substance that would make people obtain powers by drinking it, but an error occurred and something exploded in his laboratory, creating a wave through the city that made certain people obtain superpowers. At that time, Martin did not know the disaster he had made... until a few hours later he saw on the news how there were people with superpowers hurting people and destroying the city.

The scientist could not believe what he had done, he did not know what to do to fix his mistake. He searched day and night with his laboratory team for a way to save people who were hurt by people with powers, or as Martin called them, metahumans.

What Martin did not know was that a boy who worked as a crime scene investigator had gained impressive speed, which could save the world and the people in it. This boy's name was Daniel. He did not know what to do so he began to investigate how he had obtained his powers, and realized that it was thanks to an explosion in the laboratory of scientist Martin Crawford.

The next day, while Martin was trying to figure out how to fix his mistake, someone suddenly came to his lab, it was Daniel! He was trying to look for answers. The moment Martin saw Daniel he realized that Daniel was the key to saving everyone, Martin dedicated himself to training Daniel for months so that he could help people and help Martin catch the metahumans.

Over time, Daniel improved the use of his powers, but new, more powerful and intelligent metahumans also emerged. Daniel could not do it alone, Martin began to look for possible metahumans who were good and who could be part of the team and thus save everyone.

Daniel eventually found other friends with superpowers. One of them was called Oliver and had the power of super strength, and then there was Nora, who had the power of telekinesis. Now that Daniel had a group of friends he could trust, they could catch metahumans faster.

Daniel and Martin saw that some metahumans did not know what they were doing since they did not know how to control their powers, and they tried to talk to them so that they would no longer harm the city and the people, but the metahumans did not want to know anything about Daniel. Daniel hid his identity from everyone, and called himself “The Lightning Bolt”.

Many times Daniel and his team suffered losses. Daniel lost his father, who was murdered by a metahuman. After that,the only thing Daniel sought was revenge for his father, he wanted to kill the metahuman who had killed his father, and he sought him out for months, until one day he found him. He was about to murder the person responsible for his father's death when his team arrived and prevented him from making that mistake, since he was not a murderer and he was just devastated. His team made him see that he did not deserve to die, he deserved punishment but not death, and in the end Daniel reconsidered and decided that the metahuman wouldbe in a special metahuman cage for the rest of his life.

In the end, Daniel and his team managed to capture all the metahumans and Martin, the scientist, created a cure that made the metahumans return to being simple humans.
