         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Take <strong>a group photo at the Museum</strong></li><li>Explore and think about what children (of different or a specific age group) can learn at the Museum related to Early Mathematics.</li><li>In your group plan activities at least 3 objectives <strong>related to Early Maths </strong>(You can choose from any of the 2 areas - Shapes, Space, Patterns, Fractions, Measurements or Data Collection &amp; Analysis) that children can learn at the Museum during their field trip.</li><li>Refer to the sample plan on Pg 35 of <strong>NEL Discovery of the World </strong>guide. Each plan should cover the different areas including</li></ol><ul><li>A) Learning Objectives</li><li>B) Suggested On-Site Activities</li><li>C) Not Forgetting - Names, Group Photo, Venue and Age Group</li><li>D) Do include images/pictures where necessary.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Children will be brought to two exhibitions, "Modern Colony" and "Treasures of the World from the British Museum".&nbsp;<br>- At the "Modern Colony" exhibit, before children are brought into the area, there is a sign which is moving and children would be able to learn about sequencing. Additionally, the modern colony is over a period of time, children will be able to learn about time.&nbsp;<br>- Inside the exhibit, children will be able to learn about rationale counting. Children can be given a learning booklet, and as they read the questions that are flashed out, they can carry out rational counting and fill in their booklets. <br><br></div>]]></description>
