The most important things for me to get right would be the borders of each country and the sizes of countries as many maps don’t show the true sizes of countries or continents or might make them seem bigger or smaller compared to other places. I would also put all the islands as some island get forgotten or not mentioned on a world map.

If I was a cartographer tasked with creating a new world map, the most important thing for me to get right is the length and shape of each location. This is because I want the legibility to match the map as in real life, as coordinates, navigation systems and networks will be easier to use and travel through. Another idea is that we should also focus on the figure- ground on a map as this will be used to illustrate the relationships between built and unbuilt spaces in cities. This will help governments, builders, and developers to build future communities and grow their economies. Lastly one of the most Important things that should be demonstrated on a map is the borders, yes borders do change over time however borders are the main reason why there is separation between each country. And if the borders are incorrect or outdated conflicts and argument can be upon this issue, plus borders is another matter that is used for migrating and political purposes. In conclusion the three main things I would make sure would be perfect on a map is sizes and shapes of each location, figure-ground reference, and border placement.

For example, some countries are shown as smaller or bigger on maps. I also think that maps should include the smaller countries and islands on the map with precise sizes.

They should also be updated frequently because of the often trading and wars that happen in the world. Another idea is adding more ways to get somewhere on maps which could help someone get home past a country with war easily, which means putting more roads and paths to places.

The things that I would like to point out in my new map are, the roads because they are important to lead you somewhere and they help organize the community. Another thing that I think is important is the borders, they separate countries and help people go to other countries in a car without getting confused. I also think that bridges are important because you need to cross bodies of water to get to the other side of a country faster.

As a cartographer i would be careful for me to not mess up the street because if i do people would accidentally go to another place or might crash cars to each other and might not know there would be a ocean and then the car goes and drowns. And also the borders of each country and the sizes of countries as many maps don't show the true sizes of countries or continents or might make them seem bigger or smaller compared to other places. I would also put all the islands as some island get forgotten or not mentioned on a world Maps. Also the reliability and accuracy of each data source . This requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential errors or inconsistencies in the data. and these is why I would be careful from when i do a world map .

If I was a cartographer I would think roads are important because they Roads not only connect two places but also extend trade and network, help in increase the availability to promote tourism development and helps us to know where we are and where to go. They also help us to know where buildings and shops are. Oceans are very important and they need to be accurate on a world map.

If I was a cartographer tasked with creating a new world map the most important thing for me to get right are the locations of the areas. Why is that you may ask? Because, I want people to use and understand my map. I want it to be helpful and accurate to others to help them reach to their desired destinations.  I will double check with the shapes, sizes, names, and what are supposed to be beside cities and countries. I will double check if I spelled all areas correctly and neatly with capital marks and more! I will double check if the oceans are correctly shown and if the names are in its right place. I will double check if I added borders between 2 different countries. If anyone makes a mistake on the oceans or continents, it could lead to problems and misunderstandings which can cause people to lose where they are and fail on reaching to their journey. A addiional thing to add to my new world map are contour lines! I could add contour lines to inform others on the height above sea levels in different areas. I want to make my map clearer and more advanced to make more and more people to use and find my new world map helpful. I want people to reach their wanted destinations safely and quickly. Last thing I think is important to make sure you got it correct in my new world map is if I changed the map to our current date and if it is not from the past since we all know the world rotates and changes through time. I think my new world map would be successful and it will spread around others around the world!

When building a world map the important parts about creating the map is almost most of the things, for example the roads, and the oceans, including the buildings. They need to be accurate because if a person study’s from my new world map they need to know all the proper information they need to know. Roads are also very important so they know where they are and where to go. Oceans are also very important.

As a cartographer the most important thing to me is the size in a map. Because the size of the map is really small compared to the real country and world. The roads, oceans, etc may seem small in the map but in reality it is bigger, this usually makes others confused. Sometimes locations on a map can be different than the actual roads. This makes people get lost and waste time, and sometimes the maps need to be a little more specific especially with roads. In most maps some places and roads are not drawn which doesn’t let people focus and get to where they need to go. This usually wastes time most of the time because people can get confused and lost. Sometimes when people get lost due to the map being different than in reality they could go to the wrong road and could stay stuck their not knowing what to do as there is no signal, and sometimes the positions of a place could be wrong because most places and roads could have been changed by the years. It can be easy to get lost since most maps are drawn wrong.

If i was a cartographer i would draw many huge buildings , lakes ,oceans , ponds ,streets, mountains , canyons , parks , hills , famous land marks , and many more. The most important thing that i want to get perfect to get the roads , sizes , shapes , and oceans . I want to get the roads right because people can know were they are and what to visit not only because of that but because if people want to visit the place they can see were to first visit and they can memorize the roads to know the streets to the place and also because roads not only help us now were we are but because they have many ways to get us to one place. I want to get the sizes correct for people know how big it and also to let them know if it is a hill, a mountain , or a canyon. I want to get the shapes right because they can learn more about that land marks , mountain , hill , canyon , and many more. And this is what i would do as a cartographer.

the most important thing i would be worrying about to make it perfect is the capital cities and countries because that would mix people up and be in the wrong place especially if they are travelling they would be new to the place and have a wrong location and also the contour lines are important and we need the measurements to be correct

If i was a cartographer i would want to get the country’s size and capital because it would be important because what if i made Russia tiny and the USA huge and that would mix people up and the capitals what if i put Australias capital as Saudi Arabia so i need to perfect it

If i were to make a map i would want the homes to be the most accurate if anyone is visiting so they know where to go.

Also i would like the Boarders to be perfect on the map so no one enters the country illegally without permission and getting past the boarder.

Last but not least i would like the countries to be exactly where the are on the map and updated so that people don't go to the wrong country if it was sold or the country was closed up.

If I was a cartographer the most important thing for creating a world map is that everything should be completely up to

date, detailed, and accurate. I would also need to add the cities and towns. I would put all of the big areas and places and the small areas and places. I will of course put contour lines because it shows you if a area is a sleep slope or flat.

The most important thing for me on my map is getting the accuracy of the Counties, Contour lines, Capital city’s, and the borders. The reason why it’s so important of me is because this is the basic needs of a map and they need to be accurate so if people can travel safely and successfully.

If I were a cartographer creating a new world map, the most important thing to get right would be making sure the map is accurate about the important parts of the world like countries and their capitals because when exploring countries you have to know where they are exactly to know how much it will take to get there.. and when wanting to explore the capital, you would want to get to the right location instead of a location farther away from the city.

I think that Cartographers should make sure that countries are specified and spelt correctly , size accurate , ect and with that boarders should be clear and easy to make out . Capital cities should be shown if would be helpful for tourists and for governmental pourposes

The most important things l want to get right on my map is the war zones and world borders.

Because when people want to go from country to country they can know where it is by world border.

And if you are going from place to place you can see a war zone and avoid it so you do not get injured .

If I was a cartographer I would make contour lines accurate because most people use them. And I would also take care of borders so people don’t get messed up by which country is which. And I have to label capital city’s. And name towns and I have to create buildings like houses, restaurants, and schools. I would also take care about making the spaces accurate. 💕😜💕😜

If i was a cartographer is would be focusing on the contour lines and roads.. Because roads they connect to two places and help you go to other places and let you find your location and they especially help you connect trade and network. The other thing ill be focusing on is contour lines, because i think its Important to know the height and if its a steep mountain or a flat mountain or not.

The important of the map is countries and cites because it’s important to we’re are you going example when you’re going to travel you have to locate the place or country and cites that why cites and countries are important and they also help you pick the best places in the world like U.A.E in Dubai so that why countries and cities are important 🌎

And the next important detail I would put on my world map is contour lines because it helps them know about the elevation

And if something’s height is above or lower sea level so the citizens could get to a safer place with no harms and last but not least I will show the borders of countries so the people will know how Big is the country’s of it’s size and to know not to just enter another country’s land without permission.

I think that contour lines are important because it shows you how tall a mountain is and it shows you how steep a mountain is. Knowing how tall a mountain is important because if you ever go on a hike you will need to know if its steep or if its not .

If I was a cartographer I would need to make sure the locations are right, because what’s the point of the map if the location is wrong? I would also make the spaces between countries right so when people want to travel and they are using my map they won’t get confused. I even need the size to be correct because when a cartographer draws a map the countries aren’t the actual size so I would need to write down the correct size.
