Chat GPT can help them build both comprehension and production skills. It can help students understand discourse by giving them the change to ask what it is not clear for them. It can be a virtual conversation partner for speaking practice, helping students respond to open-ended questions or prompts. It can also assist with brainstorming ideas for writing tasks, offer synonyms, or help rewrite sentences for clarity and style. Generative AI tools like this are excellent for practicing conversational English, enhancing productive skills, and providing personalized, instant feedback. It can simulate dialogues in various cultural contexts, allowing students to practice real-life communication scenarios, such as giving directions, responding to customer inquiries, or making polite requests. Teachers can create exercises where students engage with ChatGPT to role-play interactions with “virtual characters” from different backgrounds, encouraging them to reflect on cultural norms and appropriate language use. As it provides instant feedback, students can refine their responses and deepen their understanding of cultural nuances in English communication. While generative AI offers significant opportunities for language practice, it comes with challenges, such as occasional inaccuracies, bias or inequality of opportunities, so teacher guidance remains essential to use this technology ethically and critically and ensure meaningful learning experiences.

Wordwall is a website that I find very useful, especially when teaching a class of kids. It provides different kinds of games that may capture students' attention. Teachers have the opportunity to create activities from scratch or edit templates to make them meaningful for their students. Additionally, teachers—or any user—can print the templates or play online in a more interactive way.

Power Point is a really flexible and useful tool for creating presentations as it provides users with very intuitive tools or settings (for instance, a long square with a stick to represent “present”, a plus to add someting to the draft, a square with lines in it to add new text,etc). With this practicality comes its easiness to be used. Anyone could make a presentation in a few minutes. Besides, it is quite complete as to designs and colours giving the user a wide variety of choices. There is no limit of slides per presentation and students would switch from one slide to the next with just a click. It would be an ideal app to use in class as any idea could be portrayed on it with multiple images, texts, shapes, designs and there is no limit for the number of slides.
