My uncle is caring because he occasionally gives me stuff whenever he comes to my house. Sometimes they're big or small, I still appreciate them. He also asks how I am and all those things.

He usually understands what i'm into and what I'm not into. He knows stuff that I think an adult wouldn't even know. Overall, he appeals to everyone's interests, his or not.

My uncle is pretty grateful for the family he has. Especially his nephews and stuff. He shows that by giving stuff to my brothers, stuff they like, on the holidays.

Why he inspires me and why he is a good mentor

I think he inspires me because he's sorta the vibe I'm drawn too. Maybe even relatable. He's chill, funny, and overall fun to be around with, talking or not. His vibe is like my own vibe if that makes sense. He's also a good mentor in a way since he's taught me a bit about some hidden things I didn't know about in stuff I already know a lot. He just really inspires me to be a good uncle/person like he is. An important figure in my life. Because of my uncle, I’ve learned that it's okay to let loose or be lighthearted in most times.

The air smelled of charred paper and smoke. My vision getting brightened by the firework. That was after my uncle lit the firework and ran away. Actually, we both ran. I just wanted to get close for the fun of it. I ran for my life as if the firework was gonna kill me. Of course, it didn't. But it still felt like it was running towards me, chasing me with it's sparkly legs. The fireworks only got worse, or better. I even lit one up myself. It was exhilarating. Big fireworks. Big explosions in the sky. I found it pretty fun. There was even one time one of the fireworks bit into my skin. I was a little too slow (because I was already out of breath at this point) and some of it hit me. Now, as a kid, it's obvious it was gonna hurt. But I didn't really cry. My uncle on the other hand, just laughed at me but I didn't mind it. It just sorta was annoying and after that, me and my family eventually stopped. I think that's one of my favorite memories I've made with my uncle.
