Students will write a eulogy commemorating the life and achievements of another civil rights leader. Eulogies will be posted on the padlet to create an online memorial. Students will:
1. Research a civil rights leader and find 3-5 sources
2. Establish a distinct voice– who is giving the eulogy (you, friend, another leader, etc.)?

Consider the following questions:
1. What are basic facts about the person?
2. What were his/her greatest personality traits?
3. What were his/her greatest accomplishments? Make a list of things the person did throughout his/her lifetime.
4. Who is he/she leaving behind? Parents? Spouse? Kids?

Eulogies must be original -NOT Copied and Pasted from any other source!
