Reflection spots give opportunity to learner to reflect on the contents he or she has gone through and corelate it with concepts or previous learnings. It provides opportunity to think and add perspectives to topic to take example if discussing voter experience diffent socioeco background of learner will brought in different perspective...it will.enrich the discussion. I see these points as connecting nods between experience and knowledge. At higher education level individual has to learn to reflect critically examine the think, as social science teacher it matters more to me.

Audio visuals or quiz can be used, personally I will prefer visuals short vedios as it brings new medium.

The approach of Content --> Reflection Spot--> Content gives the learner the time to think about the concept explained.

This breathing space stimulates the brain which can see the content but can't exactly decipher the learning.

Another aspect of Reflection Spot is it gives an opportunity to the learner to co relate his personal/past experience with the concept; thereby giving the learner an enhanced personal involvement in the learning process.

Lastly the thinking time also stimulates the brain to ponder upon what's going to come up next.... thus anticipating the learning resulting into increased level of participation.

RS are very important

Good Evening Sir/Madam and All, To improve our Learning of Dialogues (LeDs)we have to focus on visual engagement activities such as, colour coding, handwriting and drawings, and the last one includes animations, infographics and charts to explain concepts. in colour coding use color to highlight important points or differentiate ideas, in handwriting or drawings we have to simulate a whiteboard style teaching method to make explanations feel interactive.
