The U.S is in lack of nurses; this is why we need travel nurses. Travel nurses travel all over the world saving lives and helping the hospitals that need the help. People do not realize the desperate need for them and how much they impact us. Nurses differ in specialities such as an ICU nurse or a delivery nurse. People need these people to help bring new life into the world, even helping take care of our elders.

Nurses will find an agency to help them find housing, but sometimes the housing can be out of their way to the hospital. It can not be in the best environment so they have to be careful when it comes to this. Most of the time agencies will find proper housing. Another thing about travel nursing is that when  traveling to different hospitals around the world, they will have different rules and regulations. This can be a good thing though because gaining more experience will help in the future. Not only this but it makes you smarter when nurses go to different hospitals. Also, “13 Pros and Cons of Being a Travel Nurse” states when nurses travel to different hospitals, they are always considered the “new guy.” Nurses are always new and meeting new people. Sometimes, this is not a good thing experiencing new nurses. Some nurses get jealous over travel nurses because they are doing the same job, but also, get higher pay “(Nursing Process)." Some nurses will treat them differently because of this and will even be cruel to new nurses.

This also means that they may not have paid time off like other nurses do when they stay at one place. For some nurses, it can be tough for them because they need to work so they can get paid. However, a benefit is that the pay from travel nursing; if a hospital really needs someone to work then they will double your pay. You can even make it up to a six figure salary. This is great for just working for a couple months. Even when nurses want time off they can choose however much time off. They can take a whole summer off if necessary.

If they want to see the mountains, or the ocean. Nurses are guaranteed to make new friends all over the world when they travel. This way you will not be lonely or struggling to be by yourself all the time. This gives you an excuse to want to travel to the same places more! Travel nursing has many pros and cons.
