1. I think the main message of this video is the indicator that you are not lazy, you are just scare to overcome your safety zone, but nothing is impossible, no one can change the past but they can change their present and future, with small action everyday. The definition of the relationship between ambitious and laziness is a tenuous boundary, but it doesn’t mean everyone could break bad habits, which leads to why they are still stuck in their zone and achievements are so hard to gain.

2. Laziness is not always a bad thing for sure. Moreover, laziness has been the mother of creativity and innovation. People were too lazy to walk long distances, so that is why cars and bikes were invented. People were too lazy to wash dishes, so that is how dishwashers happened. Even Bill Gates said: “I choose lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it”. In contrast, people who excuses laziness is a reason for putting off, which will give result in lack discipline, procrastination, missed opportunities, and the most famous period “I will do it tomorrow” and definitely never do it.

3. I’ve been doing a same method in the video, that is “Do this thing in 2 minutes” and I just come to realized that this is not hard as I thought. I may find the difficult thing is not what I do, it is what I think. The more complicated my reasoning, the more frustrated I became, so why don’t we initiate right now? This video also reminds me a very popular quote is “If not now, then when?”

4. Some new words I learned from this video: ambitious, procrastination, wired to avoid pain, seek comfort, outsmart, bad habit, focus on progress not perfection, rely on will power, build momentum,...

Gia Nghi
