The Christians in this case is the victors and the Muslims are the ones who lost. As so in document A, the readers get a perspective of the christians during the crusade, they slaughtered the Muslims in gruesome but more humane ways (compared to the Muslims) while the Muslim warriors get slaughtered the ones forturnate enought escape to the Tower of David. We see through the eyes of Christians in document A but what about document B;  We see the crusades through the Muslims eyes. The Muslims who were unfortunate enough in the city of Jerusalem were slaughtered, as if they were animals. The Christians took the Muslim’s women and children hostage then the Christians would later go and ransacked the city of all of it’s “booty”. The final document, document C, tells another perspective of one of the Christian men inside the city. The Christians that were doing the killing were doing it merrily. The Christians killed the Muslims due to them being “corrupt” and “wicked”, almost 10,000 were murdered including the women and children.

The franks also claimed that they left no survivors including women and children. After this crusade the Muslims weeped looking for help so that they would listen they declared that they franks had taken the women and children as prisoners.

Document A states that Christians mercifully chopped off the heads of the Musims in combat, while other Muslims were shot and killed with arrows. Both document A and C also narrate  that the feet of the Christian were covered by the blood of the fallen Muslims inside the Temple of Salomon, which according to Christians was God's will against Muslims for their blasphemous actions towards the temple. Document B says that more than 70,000 Muslims were slaughtered and that women and children were taken prisoners, and on the other hand document C says that only 10,000 Muslims were killed and neither women or children were spared.

Look at their names. This is a first person point of view, the first eyewitness crusade.They felt victorious and proud of themselves. Document B is by a muslim. Ibn al-Athir who was an arab historian. This crusade basically agreed with document B. But in document A the christians killed the muslims that are in Document B. The muslims feel terrified and scared. Document C is another christian point of view, except this was a different part of the battle. The christians killed everyone , women,men , and children made sure that everyone was killed. The Christians were doing this joyful and happy they were doing this. The Christians felt happy, proud and joyful.
