I hope to gain experience that I can bring to future leadership opportunities, especially since I'm looking forward to an eventual move to a district closer to where our home is going to be.

Fears: I am nervous to find colleagues who are willing to work with me, and at the same time work on similar "problems."  A lot of teachers I talk to do not feel heard and valued... like things are being done "to" rather than "with" them.  I don't want to add to that sentiment.

Fears: I am a bit nervous to work with veteran colleagues. We have wonderful relationships, but I feel like I can learn a lot more from them than they can learn from me.
