Trying to take their land and move them to reservations. So the Lakota's and Cheyenne gathered in Montana with the great warrior Sitting Bull. They were then joined by Crazy Horse another Sioux chief and his forces. The U.S. army was ordered to round up the Indians and move them to reservations. The 7th cavalry led by Lieutenant Colonel George Custer, was ordered to scout the N.A.'s encampment. The U.S. cavalry attacked the N.A.'s on June 25, 1876. With only 250 soldiers. They had underestimated the strength of the N.A. They had thousands of warriors. Custer and his entire command lost their lives. Crazy horse was known as a legendary warrior. No one knows the exact day that he was born or when he died.
