<title>Tectonic plate boundaries by Ty Berkely</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/ty_berkely/om8mxiqnuaca</link>
<description>3 Types of plate boundaries. convergent, divergent, and transform. Tectonic plates make our continents move. Slowly but surely. And Its not just our continental plate boundaries its both the oceanic plate boundaries and the continental plate boundaries. The 3 types of plate boundaries are Divergent, Convergent, and Transform. These 3 different boundaries cause all kinds of natural phenomenons that most can&#39;t explain with having to use science to back it up. Convergent plate boundaries are when 2 different Tectonic plates converge or move towards each other because of convection currents. Convection is the heating and cooling of magma in the mantle going in a circular pattern under the crust, moving the tectonic plates this way and that. Divergent Boundaries are when 2 tectonic plates move away from each other or &quot;diverge&quot; to where magma can reach the surface and form volcanoes. Transform plate boundaries are the plate boundaries that can be called fault lines. Transform boundaries can create earthquakes. The create these tremors under the crust because of tectonic plates moving in opposite directions but rubbing against each other. Some videos are out there to let you see what these different plates look like.
