I made sure to incorporate things that will benefit Mason academically but also offer relief when he needs to destress. It seemed that Mason was better in reading comprehension than spelling so I decided to incorporate some spelling ortianted stories that are made to improve spelling. I also incorporated award winning books that he could enjoy reading with his family that are a little bit more challenging of a read. The first section was books I selected from my childhood that I really enjoyed and felt Mason would as well. We both agreed we enjoyed books such as Captain underpants and dogman and I constantly saw him reading those sort of graphic novels so I found some more high literacy graphic novels that he would enjoy reading during free time for enjoyment. Lastly I put together a section dedicated to superhero books that have a good lesson and are a little bit challenging to provide him with books he read for independent reading in school. Overall, I hope this library helps Mason find books he enjoys I tried to incorporate a different section for different times he would be reading and feel like I covered every area pretty well.
